to the screening of the documentary film “Together in isolation”
on 11 May at 19:00
“Together in isolation” (2020, 34 min,). For nearly a hundred days, the Faroe Islands – a small and isolated Atlantic nation –
were in an early stage of a lockdown, fighting together to avoid the deadly consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The director of the film, Kuba Witek, “got stuck” in the Faroe Islands during the lockdown.
He used this opportunity to document the struggle of Faroese against a global threat.
The documentary film will be screened in English with Polish subtitles. Please find the link to the trailer.
After the screening there will be a live discussion with Jakub Witek, the director and explorer.
The event will be accompanied by live concert by Łukasz “Szatt” Pałkiewicz, author of the soundtrack to the film.
